About The Author

I'm a graduate of Arizona State University where I also earned a Regular Army commission as 2nd Lieutenant.  I completed Infantry Officer Basic Course, Airborne School and Infantry Mortar Leader Course at Fort Benning, Georgia, and was assigned to the 2nd Armored Division at Fort Hood, Texas, where I was deployed twice to the Federal Republic of Germany and earned the Expert Infantryman Badge.

 Upon leaving active duty, I found my civilian calling in Information Technology where I worked over 20 years as an IT Project Manager in application development and data management.  Now retired, I moved from Arizona where I grew up with horses and developed my passion for outdoor activities (hunting, fishing, scuba diving, shooting sports) and now reside near family in North Carolina.
